The group meets 4 times per year with 2 meetings in the US and 2 meetings in Europe and the meetings run over 1.5 days (usually). Members are working together towards a common goal of developing standards and recommended practices in the area of subsea wireless communications (currently radio, acoustic, optical, power and hybrid) as well as raising industry awareness and encouraging technology uptake. The network currently has 16 members. There are various networking opportunities during the meetings and over dinner to discuss the technology and further development opportunities.
